Headteacher's Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you to our school. St Barnabas is a two-form entry Church of England infant school, which is open to children of all cultures and faiths that make up the lively, cosmopolitan community that is Wellingborough. The school prides itself on its inclusive, nurturing approach and works hard to promote a friendly, welcoming environment for our families and the wider school community. Our aim is to ensure our children are safe, happy and successful and that our core values of Love, Kindness, Forgiveness, Respect, Honesty and Perseverance are lived out daily. 

Our outstanding teaching and ambitious curriculum ensures that our children experience an exciting curriculum and are provided with many opportunities to learn in different ways. We teach a carefully sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum which aims to inspire pupils and promote outstanding outcomes for all. Our curriculum also prepares our children for future success. 

We provide a large range of enrichment opportunities for all children to broaden their experiences and to build their aspirations. Our children benefit from curriculum enrichment through visits, visitors and events.
